I always remind myself on every trip, this is still my vacation. I don’t need to be constantly doing something. In other words, I like taking a lazy day. Now of course it’s not quite lazy. I arrived in Fairbanks two days ago and have accomplished quite a bit. I have been able to cruise around town, do yoga, read some comics, chill with my hosts, start my online math class, and finally file my tax amendment. Here are a few cool shots from random parts of my trip and some quick facts as well. In light of my relaxation, I hope everyone takes at least a five minute breather to chill. Enjoy the pics. Take care everyone and have a great weekend. Cheers!
Miles/Kilometers I have driven so far- 4089 mi/ 6580 km
Money spent in gas so far- $423.22
Money spent on food- $94.52
Money spent on accommodation- $0
Cheapest gallon- $3.46 a gallon/ $.87 a liter (Minot, North Dakota)
Most expensive gallon- $5.76 a gallon/ $1.44 a liter (Fort Nelson, British Columbia, Canada)
-A small can of bear mace cost $35
-It’s insane when you pay $60.74 to fill up a Honda Civic…..
-I know Chicago gas prices suck, but I will appreciate them more now. Cost of gas is way more when you step into Canada and increases as you head north. Food is more expensive as well.

Here are some more dinosaur fossil pictures Paul. Hope you enjoy buddy.

My current host, Adam, and I have brought a new delicacy to the dessert world. After a very thorough and accidental making of fudge, we created a great snack to market. They are cinnamon graham crackers with peanut butter dipped in fudge. The secret seal of success is that your snack has the adorable look of a paint bucket, stealing the hearts of millions. It sells itself.
